In addition, because Duraban has a benign mode of action and does not actively leach or poison microbes, there is no risk of adaptive microorganisms or "superbugs." 	Duraban is an antimicrobial that molecularly bonds to most surfaces utilizing a silanol group. The molecular bond of this antimicrobial does not allow the product to diffuse into the surrounding environment. It does not wash out, and maintains its effectiveness over time. This product exhibits a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, and is effective in controlling various microbes. This water-based product is safe, easy to use and eliminates the hazards of conventional methane-based additives and heavy metal antimicrobials. It provides an invisible, durable antimicrobial finish that protects surfaces against bio-deterioration by inhibiting microbial growth. Duraban is a stable aqueous solution of a Silicone Quaternary Ammonium Salt that can provide a durable antimicrobial finish when applied to a number of surfaces.

	RemedEX is an EPA-registered, quaternary ammonium chloride cleaner, disinfectant, mildewstat, fungicide, virucide and sanitizer designed for use on various surfaces subject to microbial contamination. RemedEX is a concentrated formula that will disinfect hard, nonporous surfaces, and also sanitizes porous and semi-porous surfaces. RemedEX is especially useful as an all-in-one product for treating wood structural members, carpets, and other porous and nonporous surfaces as part of a complete mold remediation project.
